Easy Primal Waffles

I love breakfast food, but I was afraid a Primal diet would never let me have another waffle. Well, I got added motivation recently when I set out to make Primal Chicken and Waffles. Here is a tasty waffle recipe that really couldn't be easier, and just as good as non-Primal waffles!


Easy Primal Waffles

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 8 Eggs
  • 1/2 Cup Melted Ghee or Coconut Oil
  • 1/2 Cup + 1 Tbsp Coconut Flour
  • 1 Tbsp Cinnamon
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 Tsp Sea Salt

 

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Whisk eggs in a mixing large mixing bowl

1. Add melted ghee/coconut oil, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and salt - mix

2. Add coconut flour to mixing bowl and mix into thick batter

3. Spoon mixture into heated, greased waffle iron and cook until done (2-4 minutes)

4. Serve with fruit, maple syrup, nut butters, or try my Primal Chicken and Waffle recipe!
