Parmesan Bacon Chicken (low-carb, keto)

I love cheese and bacon, and I'm constantly seeking different ways incorporate them into my diet.

This Parmesan Bacon Chicken is one of the best I've done so far! Fried chicken breast smothered with crispy bacon and parmesan cheese. This is a delicious, low carb recipe that will definitely find its way into my regular meal rotation! 


  • 2 Pounds Chicken Breast
  • 6-8 Slices Bacon, cooked & crumbled
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 1/2 Cups Grated Parmesan Cheese, divided
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
  • Oil for Frying - I used 1/4 cup of avocado oil


1. Preheat oven to 350°F
2. Mix 1 cup parmesan cheese, black pepper, and garlic powder
3. Whisk an egg in a separate bowl
4. Heat oil over MED-HI heat (make sure it gets hot enough or your "breading" will fall off)
5. Dip chicken in egg, then into parmesan "breading"
6. Fry until chicken gets a nice brown crust - about 2 minutes per side
7. Place chicken on baking sheet lined with foil and/or a baking rack
8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F
9. Set oven to broil
10. Top chicken with bacon and remaining 1/2 cup of parmesan cheese
11. Broil until cheese is melted and bacon crisp
12. Serve!
